Hey friends, it’s noon on Saturday, so you know what that means! It’s:
…a mostly weekly feature here on Hip & Hooray designed to get your crafty juices flowing! Here are the fun projects I’ve got lined up for this week! Check it:
Speaking of pineapples, how ah-dorable are these repurposed wooden pineapple bowls? These just s-c-r-e-a-m “happy,” dontchatink?
Pineapples and oranges and lemons, oh my! These bright citrus fruit gift toppers are super easy to make with the downloadable SVG and PDF patterns that come with! Time to squeeze some joy out of your day! Amiright?
As someone who loves to embroider, I think these are fabulous! A spin-off of traditional merit badges, just think of all the personal applique-tions you could create for your kids, your co-workers, and anyone else who merits your time and trouble.
Adult coloring books are all the rage, including books that include mandalas because of their meditative properties. Here’s a great tutorial on how to create and color your own mandalas, and I’m guessing that the process of drawing your mandalas will be just as meditative, if not more, than coloring them in!
I love the idea of making a quick little notebook whose cover you can embellish yourself out of something as simple–and as handy–as a paper bag. Click through to see the fun way they decorated theirs!
Oh my gosh, you guys! Get OUT! Can you even believe how cute this unicorn piñata is? It’s funny, because the original piñata is pretty cute, too, but this is TDF! And I’m pretty sure that if unicorn’s poop is all sunshine and rainbows, the insides have got to be all sparkly and shiny? Right? I know you agree.
So that’s it for this week, friends! Enjoy–and happy crafting!
